On the 5th of December 2013 Foxes patrol went to LEMON, a Russian newspaper and magazine, where we talked to
the editor, a reporter and the Director. They told us how the magazines and newspapers are made and how they are
edited and printed. They also explained the process of getting the information for their magazines and newspapers
and making a draft of the whole magazine, which is 98 pages, and the newspaper, which is 14 pages, it takes 5 days.
They normally print off 600 copies of the newspapers and magazines. They have printed off and sold 3 editions of the
magazine and 19 editions of the newspaper ever since starting at the beginning of May. They also gave us some tips
on how to write good articles to attract people’s attention, and how they are involved with public relations. After they
gave us a tour around their station, we all went downstairs, took photographs and they gave us samples of their
magazines and newspapers.  After that we went to Pizza Hut to discuss the other requirements for our badge.

On Wednesday the 11th of December members of the foxes patrol when to skips house to do the final touches for the
public relations badge. What we did was we had to make an audio visual presentation about scouting. So we thought
to do a power point about what we like about scouting and every person wrote an individual paragraph about what
they liked about scouting. On our presentation we wrote 7 paraphrases. Arthur wrote about going overseas, Maria
wrote about making new friends, Michalis wrote about campfires, Christopher wrote about camping, Aris wrote about
doing and learning knots, Ioanna wrote about hiking and I wrote about actually going to scouts. We also had to show
the presentation to the scouts.
