Recycling Project 2008 and extended into 2009

Ink Cartridges should not be thrown away, but to be put into the hands of 53rd St
Barnabas Scout Group. It takes almost 450 years for  one ink cartridge to
decompose, thus having a very damaging effect on the environment. This is only
one of many reasons to recycle ink cartridges.

The company that is helping us is Cartridge World,  they'll pay us 2 euros for
every re-usable Laser cartridge and 1 euro for every re-usable ink cartridge. So if
we work together we could raise enough money to help a charity group by buying
needed  equipment at the end of the year.

This year is the end of a two year project. Our target is to raise €1800 so that we
can buy a trained Pony with all its tackel and donate it to the Riding for the
Disabled which is based at Happy Valley Stables.

The Explorers, will be a tour around Cartridge World, watching how they recycle
and refill the Cartridges and so learn why we have to dispose cartridges properly
in order to
NOT LANDFILL BUT REFILL .
