The Chairman Thanks all for the great turn out for the meeting. The meeting was primarily convened to assess the finance of the group and plan near future expenses. The committee was presented with the fete accounts which they approved. €825 was raised on the day with another €100 to be added once some items from the bric-a-brac stall were sold. That would bring the total raised to €925.
Installation of armored cable at Yermasoyia in order to be able to connect to the EAC grid will cost between 1500-2000 euros. It must be done now during the summer.
The application alone to EAC will cost 750 euros.
The road at Yermasoyia will cost between 8000-9000 euros and will be done upon arrival from KISC in September.
Amathounta municipality has agreed to sponsor the abovementioned works with a donation of 2000 euros.
A new projector will be purchased at a cost of 360 euros + VAT.
On the weekend of 13th – 14th June the summer fun camp will take place where all the leftover from the fete will be used in order to save some money.
On the 12th of June we shall be attending as a parents committee the 27th sea Scout Groups Kebab night event.
On the 11th of July the group will be going to the Phassouri water park as part of the last meeting for the summer.
